I moved to Phuket in 2019 with a single bag and a rough plan. Six years in, I've navigated three rounds of Thai visa law changes, opened Thai bank accounts, filed 90-day reports at Chalong and Talang, sat through more than a few appointments at Bangkok Hospital Phuket, rented in Rawai, Chalong and briefly Bang Tao, and helped dozens of fellow expats find their feet on the island.
Phuket Expat Guide is the resource I wish had existed when I arrived — Phuket-specific, honest, updated, written by someone who actually lives here. I co-founded it with Morten Andersen to cover the ground no generic Thailand site bothers to.
