Before You Go

At the Hospital
You'll register at the health checkup desk (separate from the general OPD reception at both BHP and PIH). You'll be given a card with your package tests listed. Staff escort you through each station — blood draw, urine, X-ray, ECG — in a set sequence. The blood draw is typically first so the lab has maximum time to process.
The Doctor Consultation
At the end, you sit with a doctor who walks through your results. For executive and premium packages this is a proper 15–20 minute consultation — not a five-second glance and a thumbs-up. The doctor will flag anything outside normal range and recommend follow-up if needed. Results are provided in English (Thai with English translation at some stations).
TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone) is not included in most basic packages. It's worth adding even if you feel fine — thyroid issues are common among middle-aged expats and can cause fatigue, weight changes, and mood shifts that are easy to attribute to lifestyle.
